About Dr. Jue He

Recently, Dr. Jue He was inducted into the prestigious 2023 "Steinway Hall of Fame". She was also nominated as the "Top Piano Teacher" by Steinway Piano Gallery Chicago in 2022.

Dr. Jue He began her piano studies at the age of four and has been teaching private lessons since 1996, instructing students ranging from children to adults, from beginners to advanced levels. For Dr. He, teaching piano is not just about imparting musical skills but also about fostering effective learning habits and sharing the beauty of music. Teachers play a crucial role in understanding the unique needs of each student and guiding them to acquire skills that can benefit them in various aspects of life.

Dr. He studied at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music in the high school division and later graduated from the University of Denver with a Bachelor’s degree, awarded to her as a full scholarship recipient. Subsequently, she earned both her master’s and doctoral degrees in Piano Performance and Collaborative Art from Northwestern University, graduating with top honors.

As a performer, Dr. He is renowned for her dynamic and eloquent performances. The Denver Post praised her for her "First Rate Performance" when she collaborated with the Aspen Festival Orchestra. She has performed and delivered lecture recitals as both a soloist and chamber musician in more than 60 cities throughout the United States and China. She is also a founding member of the "Liang-He Duo,"https://liangheduo.com/ which continues to perform on stages in the United States and abroad.

Currently, Dr. He serves as a faculty member at Benedictine University.
