I specialize teaching children 6-18 and adult students. As long as the students love music and fit my teaching style, I would love to to work with them.
Students should have weekly lessons.
The duration of each lesson depends on the students' age, level, concentration period, and goals. I typically discuss and determine the lesson length with the parents after the first session.
Acoustic pianos, whether upright or grand, are good options for serious piano learners. Electric pianos are not recommended for long-term piano study since they have a completely different touch and feel compared to a real piano's keyboard.
Yes! As a matter of fact, most of the students in my studio began their piano journey with me, and many have since progressed to intermediate or advanced levels of piano playing. It brings me great joy to witness the growth of these diverse students.
Performance is a crucial aspect of piano education. My studio regularly hosts two studio recitals each year: One in December, and another in May. Furthermore, most of our current students regularly participate in music examinations offered by organizations like ABRSM, and AIM. I also actively encourage competitive students to engage in local, online, and international music competitions, including events like the American Protege, ISMTA, Berkley-Pendell Scholarship Competition, and Downers Grove Music Club competition.
